WHEN X IS WRONG

Take X as a symbol of something being wrong, and replace that something with the opposite and positive, we'll end up with a Tick or a Check regarding the state of our feelings:

X  (NO!)                                              Check  (YES!)

Replace
Anger ------------- with --------------- > Love

Resentment ----------------------------> Understanding

Hatred -----------------------------------> Love

Vengeance -----------------------------> Compassion

Ignorance ------------------------------> Love

False pride -----------------------------> Forgiveness

Sorrow ---------------------------------> Positivity / Hope

Regret ----------------------------------> Love / Prayer

I have moved on.  I have transformed my heartaches and feelings of hopelessness and sorrow to love, forgiveness, and hope. (No, I didn't do it on my own - I'm not that smart - I did it with the help of  my blogger friends - your kindness, your prayers.  You know who you are.  And you know that I'm eternally grateful).

If I can do it, so can you.

A wonderful post, and a clever use of the letter, too.

That's really good advice Grandpa. :)

Now this is a creative use of the letter X! I do try to steer clear of the negative notions in life but it's not always easy. At least every new day is a fresh start!

It's a pleasure to meet you via the A-Z Challenge!

Thank you, Grandpa, with such healing words. It is only when we move from one side of the scale to the other that we can be whole.

I'm glad I dropped by here today. I very much liked your creative approach to "x thinking"--that is just extremely well done.

But more so, I like your W post. Your images are beautiful, and the words pitch perfect.

I could hear Armstrong's voice as I read them.

I lost track of time, and I've missed a lot of blogs this month. But I'll be coming back to read the rest of your posts.

I'm certain it will be time well spent.

Thanks for sharing.

Best,
Joe

Indeed Grandpa,
To turn what may seem to be negatives into positives. Too live life with realistic positive anticipation, rather than negative speculation.
My friend, keep embracing those positive thoughts and actions. Know that I and these fine folks, are equally grateful to you.
In peace, positivity and friendship, your way, Gary :)

Yah Grandpa (((claps))) so glad to see this post. I've been picking up in your last few posts that you are beginning to move on. Don't be fooled though, you will still fall occasionally, but the main thing is that you're looking forward.

Forgiveness is the most difficult thing. It took me a very long time!

Keep moving forward. Yes, as L'Aussie says, you'll still occasionally fall backward. I do all the time. But I keep that forward look, and keep taking more steps forward than back.

This is a great post about looking for all the positives. I'm cheering for you! I so enjoy coming into your blog/your place. It's bright. It's uplifting.

And thanks for your support. I just got word today from my publisher that my memoir is now scheduled for MAY, maybe the 17th. I wish they didn't keep changing this, but.... I'm not worried. It IS at the printer. And thank you for whatever you posted about it. No one remembers the date. I'll just keep updating my blog.

Have a wonderful day tomorrow. You are an inspiration to me!

Joe, Hi there, welcome to The Farm! Thanks for stopping by and for your compliments.

klahanie, thanks Gary! Mighty glad to have friends like you. Peaceful and positive thoughts your way...

L'Aussie - You are very perceptive Denise! And thanks for the warning - you are right, it's so easy to fall back into negative territory.

It is a struggle, and I find myself floating to the edge of the abyss every now and then, tempting to wallow in my sorrows.

I have to stay positive - this is just the beginning of my new journey. And I would like to think that the possibilities are endless... thanks for being here Denise.

Ann, I saw your comment after I've responded to Denise there, which would be my response to what you said too... I know you can relate to and understand what I'm going through.

Thanks for being here, and we all look forward to that Big day of yours. Take care.

Lovely, Grandpa. It's hard work sometimes to stay positive. Easier to be sad. But with people around like you, I cant help but have a smile on my face. Take care XX
