A FOR AGRICULTURE

AGRICULTURE

My first love, my vocation, and now my hobby and a source of income and endless pleasure.

It is also the inspiration and the source of materials for this blog.

I've found this place in the wilderness and made it my home. To all participants of A to Z Blogging Challenge I welcome you to The Farm. Please feel free to browse my older posts and discover exotic fruits, tall tales and the goings-on in the every day life in the tropical rain forest.

Hey Grandpa,
My sincere and humble apologies for not visiting your Farm, for a while.
Thus, my good friend, I am now here.
You do a very entertaining and informative blog, complete with superb pictorials and yes indeed, exotic fruit :)
And to you and all those doing the 'A to Z Blogging Challenge!, I wish them the very best and have fun.
Take care, Grandpa and may you have a most peaceful and positive weekend.
With respect and kindness, Gary and Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet star :)

Gosh, thought I'd be one of the first, being in England, but there are more other advanced parts of the world, such as where you live, Grandpa! :0)

Hi ho Grandpa! You're my first comment for the A - Z! I decided to go with American time so probably won't be posting until 9pm Australian time. No one would explain to me which time zone we're going on. If I do it Australian time I'll be a day early. Hmm. Seeing it's Americans who started this they'll probably expect us to dance to their tune!

It's lovely that you're doing the challenge as your posts will be interesting on the farm.

I'm sure it'll work out.

Candyland: stop by often then, I hold durian party every now and then...

Jingle: thank you, yours too. You are welcome;

klahanie: Gary old friend! (old as in long time, not age, eh). I was wondering was it something I said... I'm so happy my friend to see you again. Hope you've been well. Take care.

Carole, Denise: The only reason I'm early is I started writing after the stroke of midnight, and posted at about 2 a.m! Now that my durians are falling non-stop I have to work nights!!

I suppose we are to follow our own time zone.

Thanks Denise for making me first.
I was hesitant at first to join, not sure if I will be able to cope, but then I thought 'what the heck!' I should at least try. Credit to the hosts too for being very helpful, I was encouraged.

Yes, yes. What would we do without Agriculture.

Awesome choice.

Well, you're a day ahead. I wasn't thinking this as I saw your smiling face on my comments page and came over here to one of my favorite places!

Mercy: Thank you, and welcome to The Farm! I've been over to your place - pretty pic there!
All the best with the Challenge.

Lee: Thank you. The challenge is off to a fantastic start I can see. Well done.

I love living on a farm. I use to when I was little. There was nothing more fun than walking barefoot through the fields squishing the dirt between my toes. I am looking forward to visiting your farm this month.

I am in the subcontinent so my posts will go up early too.

Grandpa, thanks for visiting me in Australia. It was lovely to see your comment. The farm looks very peaceful, and I'm glad your family rallied around when you pulled their collective legs! I haven't worked out how to do the link thing but here's my attempt:

Hi Sue, welcome to The Farm!

I learned about the link from Arlee - he has it in one of his posts, and would actually e-mail the steps to you.

I grew up in an agricultural community, so I'm a fan. Glad that you chose it for your A! Can't wait to read the rest of your posts.

I left for The Farm last night and back this afternoon with some durians for my grandson's birthday party - for his parent's guests - (read all about it in my latest post), hence the delay in responding:

damyantiwrites: so you are a Singaporean now? The Farm is near Tg Malim. I love eating durians, even more growing them;

Su: I hope you are in the Challenge too;

Talli Roland: Hi lovely to meet you too! And welcome to The Farm. I hope you hang around here often.
